Today's children face many societal
influences that draw them away from God and His love. To counteract
these, boys and girls need a variety of nurturing experiences provided
by caring adults at church. Children's spiritual needs include regular
Bible study that focuses on life application, worship, Christian
fellowship, and evangelism. They need these experiences on Sunday,
through the week, and during the summer.

Quizzing 2008/2009
Exodus details exactly how
God kept His promise made to Abraham (Genesis 15) as He rescues the
Israelites and bring them out of Egypt. The Lord chooses, guides, and
mentors Moses to become His prophet and the human leader of the
Israelite people. The Lord sets up His theocracy, or kingship, to lead
and rule the Israelite people through the establishment of: worship (the
priesthood and the Tabernacle), law (the Ten Commandments), and
leadership (the role of prophet and judge) of the Israelite people.
Exodus ends with only a part of the Lord’s covenant (Genesis 15)
completed. "Nazarene quizzing is a tremendous ministry that will follow these
children throughout their lives." If you missed the children's presentation of,
"Christmas at Bethlehem Gulch," you missed an entertaining and
delightful program. The children and staff did an outstanding job
in spite of laboring at times without electricity. Thanks to all
who made this a wonderful part of the Christmas season.
Children's Quizzing is a
Bible study program for children in grades 1-6. The purpose is to teach
the Bible in a fun and exciting way, creating a desire and a love for
studying the Bible. Pray for our Quiz Kids - Erick Carney, Leah Carney,
Christi Lynn Williamson and Leader, Michele Carney as they study the
book of Genesis this year. Each year children study one of five books
of the Bible-Genesis, Exodus, 1 and 2 Samuel, Matthew, and Acts.
